èßäÊÓƵ celebrated outstanding faculty achievement during its 2025 Commencement Weekend, recognizing exemplary contributions in scholarship, teaching, and service.

James Moskowitz, Batten Lecturer in Political Science, received the prestigious Jane and Frank Batten Distinguished Scholar Award during the Batten Honors College Capstone Convocation on Friday in the Susan S. Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center.

Also recognized were , , and . They were recognized during the Spring Commencement in TowneBank Arena.

“These faculty members represent the best of èßäÊÓƵ,” said Dr. Scott D. Miller, President of the University. “Their passion for scholarship, commitment to service, and dedication to students are foundational to our mission and to the transformational experience we offer at VWU.”
